Need help starting your job search?
A well-written and organized resume is a critical first step in capturing the attention of hiring professionals. If you need to create or update your resume and would like some ideas as to how to present your background and experience in the best manner, check out some sample resumes to help you get started.
Once you've finished your resume, double-check your facts for accuracy. Then, it's always a good idea to ask someone to review your resume to make sure it is easy to understand and follow and doesn't contain misspelled words, typos, or grammatical errors. It's important to fine-tune this document, as it will be the first impression you make on every hiring manager.
Also, in case it's been a while since you've interviewed for a new job, it would be a good idea to review some general interview tips to help to ensure a successful meeting with your potential new employer.
We want your job search experience to be as positive and productive as possible, and hope these guidelines are helpful as you begin the process.
