Innovative Outsourcing was founded in 1995 by our President, Cindi Filer. Cindi had worked for years in the areas of finance and human resources when she left the full-time workforce in 1993 to stay home with her first child. Within months, she was approached by her former employers to contract with them on a project basis, enabling her to consult from her home-based office. As her clients' needs increased beyond her ability to manage them personally, and as she became aware of an absence of part-time work options for many of her friends, Cindi began outsourcing many of the jobs—and Filer Services was formed.
Several years later, the company was renamed Innovative Outsourcing, a name which illustrates the unique and beneficial strategy of personally linking our part-time employees with client companies who appreciate competence, maturity, and professionalism in their team members.
